Fourth Year Visual Communications
This is a publication and two sets of stamps to commemorate those who have left this country over the centuries and also those who are still leaving in search of greener pastures. One set of stamps maps the journeys and destinations that the emigrants had to embark on and the other set is for the Irish people leaving and the Irish people already abroad today.
Stamps are the perfect vehicle for the subject of emigration. We stick them in a corner and send them off all over the world. They are a communicative tool seen and used by many and can often tell a story and can be used to pay tribute to many orders of people places and things.
